Checking In with AVN Transsexual Performer of the Year Nominee Casey Kisses

Casey Is The Coolest!

Casey Kisses is up for AVN's Transsexual Performer of the Year award and her body of work most definitely makes her a front runner. Here's what she had to say about this big honor.

So how are you, Casey? How are things?

"I've been great, just keeping busy with work. Things have been quite hectic lately with awards season around the corner, but I'm super excited for it all. It's been such a great year for me and some of my friends in the industry, so we’re all very much looking forward to the coming months ahead."

A big congratulations on being up for AVN's Transsexual Performer of the Year! How does it feel to receive this nomination?

"The AVN Awards Show has got to be one of the most honourable and prestigious awards you can merit. There's so many new and wonderful performers on the trans side of the industry this year, so to be recognised with a nomination has got to be one of the most surreal experiences, not just for myself but for any of the nominees listed. I feel like we all work so hard to produce good content, so it's definitely a bit of a healthy competition."

You are also up for Best Transsexual Sex Scene for your work in Devil's Film's "TSPC: Transsexual Porn Channel" for your scene with Lance Hart. What do you remember most about performing in this?

"The most memorable experience from that scene would be the height difference between Lance and I. I played a transgender women’s basketball player so we really went the extra step to exaggerate the height difference. All kidding aside, the sex has got to be the most memorable part of the scene. I love working with Lance. He’s such a great switch and overall performer; it always leaves the day very easy going and fun. Plus he has a great cock and he shoots these huge loads, so I’m a happy camper, LOL."

You are also up for several TEA Awards including Best Hardcore and Best Solo Model. How did getting all of these nominations feel?

"I would definitely say it’s a great feeling. It can be a bit overwhelming to keep up with all of the different awards and nominations, but certain ones, like Grooby’s hardcore and solo performer of the year, are always ones that catch my eye. To be selected from such a hardworking and beautiful crowd, it's definitely quite an honour. I’m really proud to be among the other nominees."

What has your fans' reaction been to these recent nominations?

"I have had nothing but positive feedback from my fans pertaining the awards. They are all the reason for this success, so I can see why they’re just as excited as I am."

Your scenes are consistently super. What do you think is the most important factor in making a great porn scene?

"I would say chemistry. Chemistry is the number one key to having great sex in general. When you have great sex in front of the camera, it translates well. So, having good chemistry is always something I hope for when approaching any scene."

If for some reason you do not win AVN's Transsexual Performer of the Year, who would you most like to see take the trophy home?

"I feel like AVN does a great job at being very attentive of the industry. All the nominees are definitely very deserving of the award and to be recognised for their hard work. I’ve made friends with so many of the other models and I know most of them quite personally, so to pick just one would be extremely difficult. I think we’ve all had a great year and we’ve all done some amazing work that needs to be recognised. I'm definitely going to be overly ecstatic for anyone who takes home the award."

What are you proudest of when it comes to your work this year?

"I would say I'm most proud with how far I’ve come and how much I've learned this year. You can really see a difference between the scenes I’ve shot in January and now. I feel the most important thing to success is determination and to see such substantial progress is really motivating in itself. Plus, I feel like at this point I can take an extra three inches, and that’s cute."

So what else is coming up for you?

"With the spontaneity of the industry, it's kinda difficult to plan things too far ahead in the future. I am super excited for these upcoming awards, for the scenes that I've shot that have yet to be released, and for all of the new content I plan on creating with my girlfriend Kylie Kisses. She’s been such an awesome part of my life and so supportive of my career. We have so many great ideas that we can't wait to put to action."
