At the bar, Rebel runs into an old acquaintance in the form of Khloe. He looks right at her and calls her her deadname of Robert. Pro tip-- don’t do this to trans people. Also don’t call them the other things Rebel calls Khloe, which I won’t reprint here. Khloe for her part is sadly used to this bullshit and just flips off Rebel. Cameron is instantly attracted and can’t stop thinking about Khloe and it’s really awkward at the bar when she tells Ashley she’s buying him a drink for coming to her aid with Rebel because if she had to get physical, it would have really messed up her makeup! I find it very interesting in a positive way that misgendering, deadnaming and blatant transphobia and biphobia are part of a porn feature. Their presence in the story helps to highlight that these things are facts of life for many trans people way too often. Khloe, Casey, and likely all of your favorite performers have dealt with these issues in their actual lives and while we can admire their triumphs over these adversities, it should also help steel us in our resolve to eliminate this garbage from our society's consciousness. This is a feature that helps us think as well as get us off. I’m not only interested highly in the rest of this title because there’s hot people fucking in it, but I’m interested to see the rest of Casey’s story.
