When I first saw the Vivid Men's Pleasure Wand I have to admit I was pretty excited. There are a ton of adult toys out there on the market, but more of them seemed to be tailored towards women, or are fairly omi-sexual. The idea of a toy designed specifically to enhance a man's pleasure sounded like a idea whose time had come. Unfortunately, despite its cool looking design and even cooler package the Men's Pleasure Wand is anything but pleasurable.

Designed to be inserted anally this pleasure wand is supposed to provide prostate stimulation while also giving attention to your balls or scrotum. In theory this is a great idea, but in practice it just doesn't work. The way the Pleasure Wand is shaped it can't comfortably handle both tasks. Also once inserted its odd shape seems to work against getting it into a good spot and keeping it there. Given its shape the pleasure wand isn't something that you'd use to stimulate things by coming in and out, but I defy anyone to figure out a position where this damn thing actually feels anything but painfully uncomfortable.

Another huge downside is the vibration part of the toy. It has four levels of vibration, but I found that even the highest level wasn't strong enough to really make a huge impact. The toy is waterproof which made cleaning it easy, and it does have a handy ring that makes taking it out pretty quick and easy. But these are small wins in a toy that just really misses the mark. If you're looking to explore the world of anal play this isn't the place to start (or finish for that matter).
